Most Electronics Made in China?? The Reason Explained

Electronics Made in China?? The Real Reason Explained

Made in China

Every person in the world has question in his mind, why most of all the electronic products are marked as Made in China. so, Today I will answer all the questions which are in your mind? Let's start!

Made in China

Today there are many multi-national companies are there in the world which are manufacturing one or the other electronic items. But Why most of the products are represented as Made in China. The answer to this question is,

Industries supply their components to china assembles them so the manufactured product is marked as Made in China.

Made in china

But, why Companies supply their components to the China to assemble? Because the labour cost is very very much less in the china compared to any country in the world and also huge amount of skilled labourers are available in the populated china.

China also produce highest no of skilled engineers in the world compared to most of the developing countries. This is not only reason behind the electronics made in china.

The second reason is In the late 1970s, and especially at the 3rd Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in December 1978, the Chinese government initiated its policy of reform and opening up. In April 1979, Xi Zhongxun and other Guangdong officials presented in Beijing a proposal to give broader flexibility to the coastal provinces of Guangdong and Fujian to attract foreign investment, with additional exemptions in four locations, namely Shenzhen, Zhuhai and Shantou in Guangdong and Xiamen in Fujian.

SEZ zones

So, they established SEZ (special economic zones) in these regions to encourage the foreign investors and companies to establish their quarters in the SEZ with relaxation in the various taxes. so, Many companies get encouraged and had established their quarters in the SEZ. Many companies came to get help of these act to decrease their assembling cost of the products. Also most of the components are also available easily nearby due to too many industries, therefore transportation cost has become almost negligible.

China is also very big province with more requirements of their public of electronics so SEZ also produce products for china itself also.

Today major multi-national companies like apple also assemble their USA designed components in the china. In some time many companies come under this act and started to assemble their components in the china.

Make in India

Being encouraged from this policy of Chinese government, Indian government had also started Make in India campaign to encourage investors from world to invest their money and establish industries in the India to engrow their business. Today many companies are also established in India under Make in India campaign. The day is not late when IPhone is marked as Assembled in India.

Google Pixel 3 Night Mode Explained: Tech behind the incridible camera

Google Pixel 3 Night Mode Explained

Google recently announced Pixel 3 smartphone and astonished the whole world by its incredible camera with night mode which could beat the Dual camera of IPhone XS and Note 9 also the triple camera setup of  Galaxy A7 and P20 Pro. The team at DPreview to interview the brains behind the path breaking technique.

Pixel 3 Camera

The interview with Isaac Reynolds, product manager for camera on Pixel, and Marc Levoy, engineer and computational photography lead at Google, managed to give out plenty of details about the machine learning mechanisms and other rather odd techniques used to deliver better camera quality than the underlying sensor is capable of.

Synthetic Fill Flash
While the presenters on stage barely shed any light on this thanks to time constraints, the Synthetic Fill Flash, works in the same way that Google creates Portrait imagery, using a mix of edge detection and machine learning (ML).
Once the photo is clicked the camera will then selectively raise the exposure on the person and their face in the photograph that gives the subject a lively glow. In traditional photography with camera, this usually requires reflectors and other equipment to add more light on a subject against a brighter sunset or in scenarios with dim lighting. The Pixel's processing lets you capture details of both the subject (or even subjects) and the details in the background as well, making for a vibrant, lively and well exposed photograph.

Night Sight
According to the camera team, the Pixel 3 does take better pictures in the standard low light mode itself as compared to what you get on a Pixel or Pixel 2.
If there is really no light (street light 40 feet away) or very dim sources of light (like a sunset), the Night Sight mode comes to your rescue. You will get a bit of shutter delay (upto 4-5 seconds) but the results are reportedly worth waiting for. Wide-angle selfies also come with Night Sight so that colours even in low light are accurate thanks to machine learning.

Raw Capture
As per the team, the DNG files produced by aligning 10-15 frames and merging them is far from your typical smartphone's RAW capture. And thanks to this super accurate and smart frame alignment algorithm, there is no ghosting even if the subject happen to be moving.

Super Res Zoom
A new kind of burst photography that will actually increase the details of the photographs has been used in the new digital zoom mode branded as Super Res Zoom. The technology basically makes complete use of software algorithms to deliver image quality that is far better than its underlying sensor is capable of.

The system relies on small micro-shifts to gather this data and will also go as far as to purposely move the OIS system to get those shifts (if the user's hands are too steady) and then align the photos back in software to sub-pixel precision.

What is Portrait Mode? How does it works?

What is Portrait Mode?portrait mode

In photography, Portrait Mode is a function of the camera used to take photograph focusing the single subject. When taking photographs in a portrait mode the camera uses a large aperture to keep background out of focus using depth sensing so subject which is photographed only remains in the focus.

Dual camera

How Portrait mode works?

iphone 7s

The top new feature of i phone 7+ was portrait mode. It is a new software feature that uses the dual camera lens to create the effect and look like picture clicked by DSLR camera. This 10 min video from Marquess Brown lee explains how it works. The portrait mode is now available in the most smartphone brands.

Dual camera

This portrait mode uses depth mapping to differentiate between subject and background. It then makes the background blur using software depending on the distances between the background and in-focus subject and highlights the subject so viewer's vision first attracted towards the subject.
As Brown Lee discovers the differences between images captured by I phone and pixel 2. The I phone extremely focus on the face and also blurs the hairs, ears and some other objects which are in same plane of face. The pixel 2 is doing good job in focusing on the entire face and aggressively blurs the background.

How Dual Pixel Portrait Mode works in Pixel 2?

The most astonishing feature of Pixel 2 is that it takes Portrait shots using only one lens, while it is essential to have dual lens to take better Portrait shots.

google pixel camera

The reason behind it is that the sensor of the Google Pixel 2 supports Dual Pixel Technology. In it, sensor has millions of pixels and each pixel has its two sub-pixels.

Dual camera technology

This sub-pixels captures the light coming from two different angles. Dual pixel technology is used to distinguish between the subject and background and Google AI is used to produce blur effect in the background.

Wide angle camera

Though Pixel 2 has single camera hardware but Google AI is efficient enough to take wonderful portrait shots. Dual Pixel works better on animals and inanimate objects also. Google has used more 1 million pictures and scenarios to enhance the Google AI to distinguish between the subjects and backgrounds.

Till today, Google Street View is launched in about 80 countries of the world.

How Google Street View works?

Google Street view cars

Google Street View displays panoramas of the images. For this, Google uses the cars on which high resolution 360 degree cameras are mounted and these cars travels in whole cities and take up photographs of the streets and monuments.

Then, these photographs are uploaded by Google for Street View. On these cars 12 cameras are fixed to take up photographs from different angles and sides. These photographs are upgraded from time to time.

Google street view

As cars are not capable to travel at all places, Google also uses trekker, tricycle, walking mans, boat, snow cart, and underwater boats to take up the panoramic shots.

We can also upload some panoramic shots of the place on the Google Street View using gadgets. Google highlights user-contributed shots with blue circles on the Maps.

Businesses like shops, cafes, malls can pay a photographer to take panoramic shots of the interiors which are included in Google Street View with orange circles.

For privacy purpose, Google uses technology to blur faces of the pedestrians and moving cars number plates.
The another astounding feature of Bird Eye-View by Google allows us to observe how the city looks from the top. For this purpose, Google uses helicopters to capture panoramic views from the top. This Feature available in the big cities of the world.

Along with high resolution cameras, Google also uses laser beams for depth mapping to calculate the length and width of the streets and passages. And all these data is also as Artificial Intelligence in self-driving cars for better performance.

Google is requesting for Street View Feature in India but Indian Government is not agreeing for this matter. So this about the Google Street View.

What is Bitcoin? How to mine it?

                                           What is Bitcoin?

What is Bitcoin?

Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency or digital currency. It is decentralized digital currency as it works without any central administrator. In this system, monetary transactions takes place between users directly without an intermediary. These transactions are verified by network nodes through use of cryptocurrency technology and recorded in public ledger called Block chain. It is represented in symbol as BTC or XBT.
One thousandth (0.001) of Bitcoin is called Millibitcoin and one billionth (0.00000001) of Bitcoin is called Satoshi.

Inventor

Bitcoin was invented by a person named Satoshi Nakamoto and released on 9 Jan, 2009.

What is Mining? How to mine it?

The process by which Bitcoins are created is known as Mining. In the mining process, Miners verifies the transactions carried out at global level by solving the mathematical problems attached with these transactions, using powerful GPUs or CPUs.
So, they get some Bitcoins as a reward in order to verify the transactions. This process is known as Mining. As per terms and conditions, only 21 million bitcoins can be mined in total and already 16,858,762 bitcoins are mined, so that their price goes on increasing. So, we will not able to mine bitcoins after 120 years from today.
As per research carried out by University of Cambridge in 2007, there were approx 2.9 to 5.8 million users using cryptocurrency wallet uses Bitcoin.

We should mine Bitcoin or not?

To mine bitcoins powerful GPUs and CPUs using more electricity are used so if reward of Mining is not more than electricity consumption, we should not mine Bitcoin. Approx 100,000 merchants have accepted Bitcoin. But still many people do not recognize Bitcoin. Many professional persons have discouraged the use of Bitcoin.
So what do you think we should use Bitcoin or not? Place in comments.
