For privacy purpose, Google uses technology to blur faces of the pedestrians and moving cars number plates.
The another astounding feature of Bird Eye-View by Google allows us to observe how the city looks from the top. For this purpose, Google uses helicopters to capture panoramic views from the top. This Feature available in the big cities of the world.
Along with high resolution cameras, Google also uses laser beams for depth mapping to calculate the length and width of the streets and passages. And all these data is also as Artificial Intelligence in self-driving cars for better performance.
Google is requesting for Street View Feature in India but Indian Government is not agreeing for this matter. So this about the Google Street View.
